DIY Advent Calendars- Blogmas Day 7!

Happy Blogmas day 7! Today isn’t going to be super fancy or anything, I’m quite sick and didn’t have time to do any photos. But, that aside, I’ve got some DIY Advent calendar ideas for today!

Since I was a little kid my mom had always put together an Advent Calendar for me. We have an amazing wooden one that we can reuse every year and fill with anything. If you’re looking for a nice calendar, you can check here or here, or search on Etsy for the perfect on for you.

Sometimes it can be hard to know what to fill the calendar with. Besides the usual candy, chocolates, etc, you can try little glass animals, or small tokens. Maybe even some little pieces of jewelry some days. Legos or Playmobile could be super cool for a kid to open every day. If you’re making one for a beauty lover, depending on the size of the calendar, you could try a little nail polish a day, or an eyeshadow, or lipstick. Even a small button or pin a day could be so much fun to organize and open.

If this is out of your price range and you’re making one for someone special, try a poem a day, or a nice quote, or maybe making little coupons for things like a homeade dinner, a pamper day, or a back massage.

The holiday season is all about love and family, and Advent Calendars are a wonderful way to feel festive and special every morning. It’s a way to show someone you care and to make them feel loved. It could even be a clever way to propose to someone in love with the festive season…

That’s all I’ve got for today, sorry it isn’t too exciting. I’ll be back tomorrow with another day of Blogmas!
